She said that young users should be 'socially conscious' about the websites they open and feed personal information on. They should also be made aware of exactly what information they are supposed to provide or not provide online.
"For millennials, the most important thing is to be responsible on the internet, which is by not leaving any digital footprints that may come back to haunt them later."
Mohanty further added that a lot of times, youngsters become revolutionary on the web and leave a lot of information, all of which comes back after years when they are applying for a job.
She said that by "being conscious about what you leave on the internet will go a long way in keeping your relationship with the internet safe."
Not only did she talk about youngsters leaving bits and pieces of their personal information online, but also explained how Google is working hard when it comes to online payments made for Google
